The unreleased album from Tony Cook – recorded between 1982 and 1986 – newly remixed by Peanut Butter Wolf and given a ceremonial release by Stones Throw! Like the couple of Cook singles from the era we were previously hip to, it's a nice mix of cosmic soul and homespun charm – lots of groovy synth and period programmed beats, heavy bass grooves and searing soul guitar when the groove calls for it. Lean boogie funk and soul with guests including Dam-Funk, Vernon Cheely, Tavell, Vanessa Jean and The Party People.
